Sun Family in Spain

In September of 2025 we decided to pick our family and pets up and move to Southern Spain. When I was in my early 20s I lived in Japan teaching English and I also spent a semester abroad in Paris when I was in University. Those early experiences made me hungry to move abroad again and share the experience with my family. Life got in the way. We had young children, we started a business that was incredibly capitol intense and took all of our time and resources for the better part of a decade. In 2025 we were finally able to sell the business, I also got laid off from a non profit I had been working at helping people start businesses. My husband worked remotely. Although our Son still had a few years left of High School we decided it was time to get busy living and stop putting our dreams on hold. With political tensions increasing by the day and having a multi racial family, that gave us the kick to take the leap. We had the privilege of being able to work on a digital nomad visa and we were no longer tied down.
